All About Eve features an all-star cast including Gillian Anderson as ageing theatre legend Margo Channing, portrayed in the Academy Award winning film by Bette Davis, with Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and Cinderellaactress Lily James as the scheming young upstart Eve Harrington.
Julian Ovenden (Downton Abbey) plays Margo’s love interest Bill, with BAFTA award winner Monica Dolan(Tracey Pritchard in BBC series W1A, A Very English Scandal) playing Margo’s close friend Karen Richards, Sheila Reid (Madge in comedy series Benidorm) is cast as Margo’s maid Birdie and Rashan Stone (BBC series Killing Eve) cast as playwright Lloyd Richards.
Ivo van Hove’s stage adaptation of the classic Academy Award winning film, promises a razor-sharp, unsettling exposé of the eternal obsession at the heart of show-business.
