Had a great time doing Nutcracker for the first time despite the school oboe roasting me. The first oboist was an absolute angel and let me borrow her backup oboe for shows and she wasn’t sure if I’d like it but it was an absolute dream to play compared to literally anything else I’ve played this term 🙃 Had a couple nice reeds I made that were great so the last few shows went pretty well and I’m happy about that. Also super interesting seeing my orchestra director in a different setting getting roasted by old ladies, and also cute seeing the orchestra grad student make his acting debut while subbing 😀 Overall a fun time🎄❄️⛄️
