Cafeteria Encounters ||Ariel & Open
Ariel sat in the cafeteria, putting together her lunch. She had brought a salad that the kitchen staff had prepared for her. Flounder and Scuttle’s mother hadn’t been there, probably accounting for the current absence of her two friends. The salad looked amazing-- mixed greens, feta cheese, almonds, carrots, cucumbers, grilled chicken, and a side of raspberry vinaigrette. She poured the dressing and mixed her salad together.
Ariel began to eat, sitting by herself. Usually Flounder was with her, or sometimes Eric, but she hadn’t seen either of them for a while. That is why when someone sat down across from her just a couple minutes later, Ariel was confused. She looked at them, brows furrowed and asked, “Can I help you with something?”
