@giftedeath gets a Season 6 Dark Willow starter
It just wasn't fair. Willow had defied death once before with sheer magical strength and tenacity alone. Sure, the rituals she had resorted to were of the darkened variety, but she hadn't even been at her most powerful back then. She pulled a Slayer across the very fabric of heaven the afterlife and revived her. Now, even now, after absorbing every drop of ink in every single book at the Magic Box, it wasn't enough to bring back the one person who mattered most. The one person who could have kept her from going all... Dark Phoenix, as Andrew had called her.
Tara would have hated seeing her like this.
And apparently, Buffy hated her for what she'd already done. Maybe her best friend (?) hadn't said those words outright but she'd been sensing it, feeling it since the moment the Slayer came back to life. Well, fine -- if Buffy was going to mope around because of Willow's meddling, maybe the redhead could take some of the pressure off her. Which is why Willow found herself in the center of a maelstrom of wooden furniture, billiards balls, and shattered pint glasses as she used her powers to take care of a little demon bar down the road from Sunnydale.
"You see, I'm feeling a little like an overcharged magic battery," she monologued to a cowering demon as a broken beer bottle hovered ominously close to the creature's face. "And I heard this bar was good for taking the edge off. Having a little fuuuun. Relaxing. But then again, how does that old phrase go again? No rest for the wicked."
