If you're a seller of things (any thing), but tend to stay away from eBay, are just venturing out(say, cleaning out your closet on a selling subreddit), or would just like to give a gift to a friend, Gift Rocket is a great resource. If you're selling, specify Gift Rocket as a desired payment. You can redeem the card by having it sent to your PayPal- a much safer alternative to actually doing a transaction through PayPal on websites other than eBay. Personally, I'm in a bad area for yard sales, so I sell garage sale items on Reddit subreddits. You will need to give your buyer an email to send the GiftRocket to, and after they've sent it, you can redeem it by specifying your PayPal email. You can also have the money transferred to your bank account. Both options are only between you and Giftrocket. You may also recieve a GiftRocket as a physical printed card or on your Facebook wall. GiftRocket is more practical than common gift cards to specific places, which limit where you spend- or bank cards which may deduct from your balance over time. As someone who's used GiftRocket, I've had nothing but great experiences, and I will be continuing to use it in the future to send gift cards and receive safer forms of online payments for sales.
