'never be afraid of being a beginner'
– slowly, surely @giahd
sebastian settled comfotably on the plastic chair of the practice room, eyes trailing over gia. he had come in search for a room in hopes to get some vocal training in, he had some free time and wanted to work on a new technique, instead, almost like the last time, he ended up stumbling upon an other trainee who had the same thought in mind. he didn't mind much though, they had crossed paths a few times in the past, it was easy to take notice of someone who was a performer. he had seen her dance, and performers always catched his attention, there was something with the confidence and the drive to do better, get better that inspired him when he had wished to improve himself.
they hadn't spoken much before, but he always looked up to those who were passionate, not that the company was short on those trainees, this was different though, she seemed to be working hard on improving her singing, he had offered her his help, if there was one thing he was confident in, it was his vocal abilities. he was more than happy to watch as she practiced, offering a few compliments and constructive criticism here and there, he wasn't a teacher after all, but he could help a little bit when he knew how.
honestly, he hadn't expected the time to pass so quickly, have they really been here for two hours already? he gestured at gia to come sit down with him, offering a shy smile, he nudged their shoulders together lightly, offering reassuring words, "you'll get better. there's no shame being a beginner, really. i wasn't good at singing either. it's kind of like.. leveling up in a video game?" he offered softly, rather sheepishly, feeling his cheeks flush a bit, "sometimes i wished these things were as simple as that. just leveling up, getting a new class or like special ability.. wouldn't that be so cool? i like to think if i was a video game character i'd be a bard, or something..."
