“Be careful! You must never stand beneath a spider web. That is where the dark fairies are. And they are terribly known for playing nasty tricks on those that do. Believe me. They were cruel to me over a month. It was difficult for me to get rid of them. But the one way I was able to, was by placing a small glass of lemon juice on my window sill. They hate the smell of lemons.”
@ghostlyhcurs SPOKE WITH ERNEST, EYES BRIGHT WITH A KNOWING THAT he had been searching for within others for such a long while. It was refreshing to hear it from jump instead of him coaxing it out. It made a big smile spread across his lips, stretching his freckled cheeks wide. Where had all of them gone? The belief in such things, the fun, and adventure of it all? He found it much better than this dull world around them.
A GENTLE HUM VIBRATED BETWEEN HIS LIPS WHILE GOLDEN EYES looked up at the spiderweb he was under. He clicked his tongue, “ You sure they were bad? ” He knew all sorts of fairies and pixies that loved to just play jokes, but never anything harmful, “ Most of the time they want to play, ” His tone was light, maybe a little curious too, “ They never bother me like that. ” He dropped his gaze to the girl in front of him with a shrug. Of course they wouldn’t be with him.
HE LAUGHED SOFTLY THEN WITH A TWINKLE IN HIS EYE, “ Sure they hate the smell of it. Lemon is not sweet after all. ” He almost sang the words.
