Character I first fell in love with:

Character I never expected to love as much as I do now:

Laito-kun. At first, I think I just thought he was a good-looking guy, that he had a tragic background like the others, etc, but nothing more. Now... I really love him. Not in the romantic sense, no, not really. I feel like I have a “special bond” with him.

Character everyone loves but I don’t:

Hm... I don’t really know about who’s the most loved one or whatever, but I noticed that lots of people love Kanato-kun, Reiji-san and Shin-kun a lot??? To be honest, I’ve never been that interested in them. Shin-kun and Reiji-san are good-looking, yeah, but... Not my type. And, haha, Kanato-kun surely isn’t, too.

Character I love but everyone else hates:

Again, I don’t know much about this... but I guess that I somewhat like Karlheinz? I’m not saying that I approve what he had done, no way, but I... have a kind of soft spot for him, in a way...? I can’t really explain this.

Character I used to love but don’t any longer:

Hm... I mean... I said tha I had a crush on Shuu-san, but now I love more Ruki-san... but it’s not like I don’t love him anymore... So... I think no one? Ah, maybe I was a little more fond of Subaru-kun, but not anymore. Still precious, though.

Character I would kiss:

RUKI- *coughs* I wouldn’t mind kiss Carla-san, ohohoho. And Shuu-san, too.

Character I want to slap:

Karleheinz and his three wives. And Richter too ‘cause he’s both guilty and a “victim” but chose the wrong options.Sometimes I feel like slapping the other boys, too, to be honest.

A pairing I love:

MexRuki AyaYui is my OTP ♥ I like AzuYui, SubaYui and ReiYui mostly, too.

A pairing I hate:

I thought I had a couple more screenshots for this buried somewhere but I can’t find them now x_x But this one physically made me cringe:

Yes, Iba is affectionate with Chizuru but not at all to this degree yet this early on. If this had been like... later I’d have been okay with it but as much as Iba is personal with Chizuru, the “my love” in this line presumes too much. Yes, Iba is familiar with Chizuru and obviously in love with her, but he knows better than to push it considering how she doesn’t remember him. And just a slight head’s up, him being more reserved comes into play in the second half of his route where he has to start fighting more basic urges thanks to his new arm and his change into a Fury.

It’s like they make him either way too casual with the other Shinsengumi members or laying it too thick on Chizuru. Iba is a high ranking bakushin, he is close to the Shogun. He doesn’t have the rough and tumble upbringing of his Shinsengumi friends which is why it’s a little hard to picture any world in which they’re friends, but they are which is why the fact that they are is so amazing, and a lot of why guys like Hijikata are flustered by him and why pretty much all the men like him--all the other samurai with Iba’s status have always looked down on them. It makes sense for them to like him. 

Anyway, got side-tracked, Iba’s a very particular kind of character and has a very particular way of speaking in Japanese (they all do but for some reason Iba’s is the most off, IMO) and it’s just not working in the English, though ultimately this is entirely my opinion. I’m going to need to go back and get more screen shots of specific examples since it’s bugging me now and I don’t want to just sound like I’m talking with nothing to back up what I’m saying heh. 

So cute! Blythe really is a good match for him. Have you done other customs?

Oh... I liked adorable but sad Victor Frankenstein and tragic superhuman Van Helsing's routes the best, but I thought all the routes were pretty good, tbh. My favorite character is probably the heroine, Cardia, anyway. Code: Realize really does deserve the hype when it comes to her. (I mean, did you hear that she got third place in the sequel's popularity poll?) Top hat is Maeno, btw~ If it helps, you could think of him as Kino's good twin? ^^

AFAIK the church gives him a new one in LE... But I agree with you. I want him to see he's good and complete with or without his arm. ;-;

Kazuko: Yes! *smiles* It’s... a good memory for me, actually.

Kazuko: One day, I had been looking through Reiji-san’s library... I was tasked to find a specific reference for him. As I was searching through indexes and tables of contents... a photograph slipped out from behind the dust jacket. It was a photograph of him and Shuu-san, when they were still fairly young.

Kazuko: They were smiling. I’ve... never seen Reiji-san smile like that. It’s difficult to get an idea of what someone was like from a picture alone... but something about that really spoke to me... about the kind of child that Reiji-san was. Good-natured.

Kazuko: I truly didn’t mean to be nosy.. but there was an envelope hidden there as well... it was... from his late mother...  The date was so faded I couldn’t tell how old it was, but I imagine that it was from around the time that the photo was taken.

Kazuko: I... didn’t want to read it... because the seal hadn’t been broken... and it wasn’t addressed to me... but in elaborate cursive, it read, “To my dear son Reiji”――...-san.

Kazuko: I’ve been waiting for an opportunity to rightfully return it to Reiji-san.
