Katrina’s brows furrowed slightly. Ava didn’t seem to have any external wounds, but it seemed like she was having a hard time staying solid. Katrina didn’t know too much about how her powers worked, but she didn’t see any cuts to fix up and so she figured that might be the source.
“Is that normal?” she asked. Unfortunately she had never been very scientifically inclined, so if that was the solution they would need someone else’s help. But maybe Ava knew how to handle it herself. Katrina hoped so. “Is there something you need that can help you?”

He let out a deep breath. almost a huff that could be counted as annoyed and threatening at the same time as green gaze lowered to the source of the voice. “Better?” He questioned, voice deep and accented as he now turned to face her. “Maybe next time don’t stand too close.”

"What?" Justin asked, looking up from his laid out blueprints. He hadn't even heard her walk into the room. He'd been working for hours at this point and had sort of forgotten the world around him. Even now, it was hard to keep his eyes away from them - despite his focus being broken.

He gets them a lot, though he hardly talks about them. Other Avengers have fought through war and have walked through Actual Hell and back without so much as a scratch. It feels...silly, when Scott’s nightmares all share a common theme. All of them being where he gets stuck somewhere, and he feels as if he’s frozen in time. Helpless to watch as the hours go by.
It doesn’t help that a lot of these dreams wake up with him in a state of sleep paralysis, and he’s stuck once again, now in real life, in his own bed.
He can breathe easier once it’s all over. Once he feels Ava’s hand in his. He leans his head on her shoulder, trying to catch his breath. He’ll need a minute to recover.
