I feel like a dumbass missing out on a lot of Bay Area rap in my youth, and now I'm doing a lot of serious catching up. This was a gem indirectly sent to me via Twitter and I was instantly hooked off of the Street Fighter sample. Along with HBK Gang, Young L, Lil B, and Greenova, Ghost 8800 ranks up the annals of young energetic Oakland rap. Squeezing out the Hyphy roots and keeping the party going, it's pretty fucking dope.Â
