suuuuh my dudes? okay so i’m rae ( twenty-five, she/her ) and as usual, i am a complete and utter mess. so i compiled a few completely basic basics about jackaboy here but i don’t have a bio written out ( and if i did it wouldn’t be nearly as amazing as y’all’s ) but if you have any question and/or wanna plot always feel free to hmu on discord!!

like father, like son. even as a boy, jack has always watched his dad preach like a kid watching their favorite cartoon: mouth agape in wonder and eyes wide and full of joy. though his dad’s a bit more radical in his christianity, jack leans a bit more into the aspect of ‘love thy neighbor‘ and ‘let him who is without sin cast the first stone' so he’s constantly trying to spread love and help in any way he can. his faith is a huge part of him and how he thinks, but he doesn’t try to press christianity on anyone-- after all, it’s not a genuine relationship with God if it was forced.

it’s a family affair. it’s no secret him and lacey are on opposite ends of the spectrum, and she’s the one person he just can’t seem to understand or let off the hook. the lollygag gang would definitely be able to notice jack’s hypocritical ways around her; he can forgive anyone else for anything. 

ghosts ghouls and spirits, oh my. regardless of the rest of the mitchell’s plain out refusal to believe the existence of the supernatural around screamer, jack has found himself to have spirits drawn to him-- and him to them. he’s painstakingly naive when he comes to them, though, under the ( misguided ) assumption that if he means them no harm, they’ll return the favor.

would you like a hug? jack is a caregiver in his soul, first and foremost. he is always there to offer a shoulder to cry on, an ear to hear you out or a conversation to distract your mind. though it can be overbearing to some, especially at first, his genuine desire to see others thrive shines through and he can be one of the most dependable people you’ll ever meet.

trigger warnings: death, alcoholism, emotional abuse

screamer local, raised by two parents who were madly in love in love. tragically, angel’s mother died when she was 12. her father turned to alcohol in his grief, and is now known as the town drunk.

her father would often be pretty nasty when he drank. as a result, angel turned to extracurriculars in order to avoid having to go home and deal with him. was cheer captain, in the top ten of her graduating class, and prom queen. on top of all that, she worked at the garbage plate as a waitress in order to save up enough money to move out after high school.

met her current boyfriend bryan when she was 17 and he was 19. back then he was the cool older guy who seemed like he could solve all her problems. she saw moving in with him as an escape from her terrible home life. angel has been living with him in a run-down (& probably haunted) house since she turned 18.

has dreams of going to nursing school, but couldn’t afford college after high school. instead, she got a second job at lollygag to save up & support bryan, who turned out to be a deadbeat who can’t hold down a job. their relationship is severely on the rocks — they’re always arguing, and bryan keeps wasting most of what she makes at her jobs. but angel doesn’t see herself leaving him, because he’s been such a constant fixture in her life since she was a teenager. and even if she could leave him, where would she go?

the kind of girl who is honest about everything except herself. come to her with a problem and she’ll do anything she can to help you get through it. kind to a fault, because she has a tendency to take on too much at once and won’t let anyone share the burden.
