Risghia/Ghiaris headcanons (feeding my moots) !

-Risotto is Ghiaccio’s comfort person, immediately when something goes wrong whether that’d be work related or he’s just not having it, he immediately goes to Risotto. Ghiaccio sees Risotto as really threatening, mysterious, and serious yet also a soothing and understanding person to be around.

-Risotto seems to have the most complex opinions and thoughts about Ghiaccio amongst the entirety of the team. Risotto sees Ghiaccio as he really is, just an anxious and not very sociable dude who just so happens to have a bad temper. Of course to make sure nothing goes wrong in the team, Risotto tries to make sure he can be somewhat close with each member but he seems genuinely curious about Ghiaccio.

-Ghiaccio is obviously a very hostile person and gets triggered easily but I think because of Risotto’s comfort or just him being around him soothes him a little bit even if Risotto can’t do much at the moment. It could be that maybe he doesn’t want to embarrass himself or that Risotto’s nature really is calming but nonetheless, he’s notably more quiet and a little less aggressive alongside Risotto.

-Risotto’s apart of the mafia, the man does not have time to babysit any of the grown ass men on his team but of course he still cares. He genuinely doesn’t know how to properly comfort or console others but with Ghiaccio, he likes to just treat Ghiaccio as if nothing happened after he has a meltdown/crashout. No judgment, not a word said about what happened. Unless Ghiaccio decides to open up (pretty rare to where you’d assume it just wouldn’t happen) to him, Risotto will not say anything about to avoid Ghiaccio getting anxious again. Risotto just sits or walks beside Ghiaccio and attempts to strike conversation. (Maybe a compliment even that’ll have Ghiaccio tweaking again but in a good way and internally)

-Ghiaccio deeply admires and respects Risotto. His exact feelings for him can’t be explained but Ghiaccio is always surprisingly mostly well behaved around Risotto. Emphasis on the mostly tid bit but I feel that’s maybe because Ghiaccio feels as if he can be himself around Risotto and express himself. Ghiaccio really admires how strong, resilient, and “mysterious” (Risotto’s just a quiet and probably awkward dude so I find it kinda funny Ghiaccio thinks he’s the Italian equivalent to a nonchalant dreadhead) Risotto is whether he’s close to him or not. He also likes how straightforward he is, absolutely not bullshit. Not only can he trust Risotto, he can get points across without sugar coating it or anything. Just Ghiaccio’s type. Ghiaccio’s favorite feature of Risotto is his smile. I can imagine Ghiaccio bitching about something or saying an unfunny, sarcastic joke and Risotto smirking at it. Ghiaccio would find it very unexpected at first yet would subconsciously smile back. Ghiaccio would do whatever he could if it meant Risotto would smile more, he feels as if maybe Risotto is also under lots of stress. Ghiaccio is head over heels for those dimples tho.

-Risotto really appreciates and values Ghiaccio. Even when Ghiaccio gets off track and doesn’t really think about what he’s doing in a fight, he’s probably the most resilient fighter on the team. He’s not a critical thinker but he always attempts to make sure his goals and needs are met. Risotto does get somewhat worried about this fact but he doesn’t know many with this feature. He thinks him and Ghiaccio balance each other out well in a fight or in a relationship. Risotto isn’t a naive man, he’s (in my opinion) probably the smartest person on the team so he knows that Ghiaccio deeply relies on him. I think this would lead Risotto to feel more for Ghiaccio than he would most men in the mafia he needs to work with. The fact Ghiaccio values Risotto as a boss and as a person makes Risotto feel a sense of normalcy in his life which he really appreciates. He also seems to really enjoy Ghiaccio’s rants, they’re always so interesting to Risotto and sometimes he uses the facts he learns from Ghiaccio as conversation starters. Risotto’s favorite thing about Ghiaccio is oddly enough his stand but not in the sense of its ability, strength, speed, etc. But how it affects Ghiaccio. I want to think that because of Ghiaccio’s ice based stand, Ghiaccio has a constantly stuffy nose, difficulty breathing (maybe just ragged breath even when he’s doing fine), and a pale and cold body just to name a few. Even though this worries Risotto, he thinks it’s quite endearing that Ghiaccio’s a trooper with all this. Even the smallest things could screw up big things but Ghiaccio just deals with it. These things also give Risotto a reason to take care or Ghiaccio or check up on him and have a short conversation.

-Outside of work, they go out to mainly restaurants occasionally. They both dislike crowded areas but a nice restaurant with minimal interaction is preferred between them. Ghiaccio really hates being overwhelmed with areas with lots of sound, action, and areas and Risotto not only can’t handle Ghiaccio freaking out most of the time, he also seems to like to be alone… with Ghiaccio. The two mainly just enjoy eachother’s company and presence even when Risotto disguises their outing as a private meeting of some sort (lame ahh excuse to hangout). Ghiaccio seems to be either more calm and collected than usual or a lot more anxious than usual while Risotto is more friendly, making more jokes and contact than he usual would. I feel like their relationship would be sweet like if they were on a walk and Risotto noticed something Ghiaccio couldn’t see, Risotto would lift up Ghiaccio so he could see (height difference Ghiaris/Risghia supremacy). Or maybe Ghiaccio would have a hand on Risotto’s back casually while walking. When they’d get home, obviously nothing freaky goes on, they’re just “friends”, coworkers even. Risotto and Ghiaccio would just have their own private time wherever but one of the two would just pop their head in whenever the other one is and just make themselves included for the rest of the night.

-If the two just so happened to be in a relationship, it would definitely be a serious and a more secretive relationship to avoid teasing and drama amongst the team but I feel like they were all betting at least $14 dollars on the two being together. The two wouldn’t constantly be all over eachother but they would include eachother in meetings more often, sit beside eachother, become more talkative with eachother, and such. PDA isn’t necessarily nonexistent, more like subtle. The two are more reserved even with eachother so I feel like Risotto would have his hand on Ghiaccio’s shoulder sometimes and Ghiaccio would lean against Risotto when standing. I feel like it would take the two a while to do normalized couple things such as kissing or simple “I love you”s but the two definitely know their feelings for each other.

-Romantic relationship or not, god forbid something happen to one of them. If something were to happen with Risotto in a fight, Ghiaccio is hauling ass and speed dialing everyone on the team. He’d most likely be cussing them out for not doing shit beforehand but overall, he’s just sick to his stomach about what could happen with Risotto. I don’t think he would necessarily crash out, just really locked in on two things: making sure Risotto’s more than okay and who he needs to absolutely fuck up. As soon as Ghiaccio arrives, he couldn’t care less about anything but who’s skull he needs to shatter with his sharp ass skates. Ghiaccio would make them feel an experience in which they would prefer to have died any other way but under Ghiaccio’s wrath. Anything for Risotto ofc. Same applies to Risotto except he has second thoughts about bringing other people alongside him. He’s more thoughtful about it; He doesn’t wanna attract a ton of people, overwhelm or piss off Ghiaccio, and he wants to secretly make himself look for cool for Ghiaccio. He’s genuinely surprised that Ghiaccio’s in trouble, he’s a fucking fighter but he’s also somewhat proud that Ghiaccio’s held out for what most likely was a long time. As soon as Risotto gets there, he’s hiding Ghiaccio somewhere and instantly bombarding him with attention. As soon as Ghiaccio scolds Risotto for being so selfless, somehow Risotto perfectly plotted the other guy’s death so he could spend the most time comforting and trying to heal Ghiaccio.
