I was really dreading reading this book because I haven't been reading Thrillers/Mysteries as often as I've been reading romantasy books like The Folk of Air and upcoming ACOTAR, so it was a big change of pace for me.

Due to that, it took me much longer to read the book than I expected (I think ~2-3 weeks) and how slow the book was until the very ending killed me inside. I haven't read A Good Girl's Guide to Murder in like 3 years now so I kind of forgot what even happened in the book but it clicked once I got with the flow (ifykyk)...

WHY DID THEY DO THAT TO STANLEY OH MY GOD I'M SOBBING MY MAN DID NOT DESERVE THAT 😭😭😭😭😭 I DON'T THINK I'M GONNA MAKE IT 🥹

AND FUCK YOU CHARLIE GREEN 🫵 I LIKED YOU TOO THAT WAS THE WORST PART 😭 WHY DID HE HAVE TO BE SO UPLIFTING TO PIP AND THEN BE A BACKSTABBING BITCH?!@??!?!?!?!

I am a heavily believer that you are NOT who your parents are or who they raise you to be if you do not want to be that person, and the fact Stanley Forbes (I don't wanna use his real name because it's what he would have prefered) had the STRENGTH that after all the death threats, the trauma he endured, being forced by his father to hurt other children, and living through multiples identities- He still did everything he could to become a better person and to leave his past behind him 🥹🙏 That part really got me when he was talking to Pip 😞

AND FUCK YOU TOO ANT AND HIS DAD 🫵 HE PISSED ME THE FUCK OFF, I DON'T EVEN REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED IN THE PAST BOOK BUT I HOPE HE BREAKS HIS KNEES AND CAN'T PLAY SOCCER EVER AGAIN!?!! SJSODUNSKEIF!!?!?! TO ACCUSE PIP OF PLANNING IT OUT AND ACCUSE HIS BEST FRIEND OF LYING ABOUT HIS BROTHER'S DEATH FOR ATTENTION!? HE DESERVES THE GUILLOTINE!!!!!!!!!!! PUT HIM IN NOW!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Ravi is the most supportive boyfriend EVER and Pip's father is THE BEST 🥹🫶

I really hope Pip recovers 😞 She has truly found the person she is, and it's so sad the that the path that is meant for her really ends up get getting her hurt everytime. She is truly one of the strongest and most intellectually powerful female main characters ever, because I cannot ever manage to figure out who the bag guys in these books sre FOR THE LIFE OF ME!?!?

I haven't read the third book and will probably hold off on it until the 3rd season of AGGTM comes out (I've decided on this because I'll be more up to date to read it right before so I'm more in tune with the episodes)
