lily lending regulus some of her dresses and teaching her how to do makeup, then sitting in front of each other, criss-crossed at two am in the morning with lily applying eyeshadow on regulus, music blasting in the background and regulus looking at lily, so so grateful
so in the obx au lily has kiara’s kook year as well. and i havent really thought about how much id want them to interact or not interact since i want most of the rejection/wariness from within the group to come from sirius (and then eventually have the gang trap them on the boat yada yada) but! nonny thats actually a very cute idea. reg being freshly out, so excited by the way her hair started to grow past her shoulders and how Riddle is allowing her to wear a bit of makeup to school and what with barty and evan guard dogging her she even feels a bit excited besides all of the anxiety. and then it gets even better when she makes her first real attempt at an girl friend…..lily. so adorable. they get sugar high on candy and talk about boys all night, play dress up and film vlogs with a second hand digital camera lily got for her birthday. they don’t even sleep at all and then come morning they go down to the beach and keep the seagulls away from the hatching turtles and then they fall asleep bundles up in a big ass blanket on a small dune
