I love how in tarot there has been a shift in the way the strength card has been portrayed. I find older decks like the rider-waite deck have Strength as a woman prying open the mouth of a lion. I see more modern decks having the person care for the lion (ex. The Halloween Tarot has a lion tamer caring for the lion, or the Lovely Omens Deck has a woman holding her cat). I dig this embrace of gentle strength.
