This is the first Drarry microfic I’ve written, like... ever. But honestly, I saw the prompt and I immediately got inspired to write something small. It’s a little more then 50 words (98 to be exact) but I still like it and I hope you will too :)

Tall mountains disappearing into the clouds

Picturesque old villages

The smell of summer after rain

The sound of tyres on tarmac

Soft music in the background

Hands gripping the wheel lightly

White-blond, shoulder-length hair waving in the wind

Silver eyes wrinkling at the corners

Thin lips pulling into an easy smile

Harry smiles back, relaxing in his seat as he returns his gaze out of the window, the French scenery passing by quickly. And with a carefree feeling he hasn’t felt in so long, he thinks: nous avons un long chemin à parcourir.
