When reading the entire passage of todayâs scripture of the âThe Parable of the Talentsâ God is The Master portrayed as a businessman who delegates instructions to his stewards promising rewards in proportion to their faithfulness and productivity, but also giving a stern warning of punishment for those that ignore his instructions. The master would not have entrusted his possessions to the stewards if he didnât trust them, which follows suit that God gives people an opportunity to partner with them and receive a reward for those that are faithful.
A major lesson in this allegory is that 'The 'Master' WILL RETURN and when he does for those that are faithful he will say, âWell done thou good and faithful servant. Because you were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things.â Like those servants, God sees us as partners in his enterprise to do his will, but as the third servant did nothing, even insulting the master as being selfish and greedy, his 'reward' - and those of that ilk - will be banishment from God and His Kingdom.
Friend, for those that are diligent and faithful we are more than just 'stewards' but more so are âheirs also, heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ(!)â (Romans 8:17). This parable illuminates this reality for us that God wants us to multiply the gifts He gives us, and to partner with him to enlarge His Kingdom here on earth.
What has God given you and called you to do today?

Before you make a judgement by looking solely at the title of this message and the related picture, letâs get one thing clear. You really need to read the entire message, because this isnât about some people automatically being good and others automatically being bad.
The fact is that ALL OF US are sinners, and it is how we RESPOND - and subsequently REPENT - of our sin that determines our standing with God.
While God DOES 'Love Everyone' this doesnât mean we all automatically have a relationship with God or are automatically accepted into His Kingdom. Why? Because God Is HOLY, and He can only have a truly intimate relationship with those that are also holy before him.
As todayâs verse says, God is no respecter of persons. That means that once you step out of your mortal body and cross the vail to the other side and are a pure soul before His throne, who you THINK you are, what ACCOMPLISHMENTS youâve done, how much MONEY youâve made, AWARDS & TITLES held and GOOD DEEDS done MEAN NOTHING BEFORE HIS JUDGEMENT SEAT.
What sins we have done in this life is both our issue, curse, and price we will have to pay UNLESS you abandon your sinful ways, confess your sinfulness to God, earnestly repent, and start living a life that is âgood, and acceptable, and perfect (according to the) will of God.â (Romans 12:2)
Friend, whatever intersection you are standing at today doesnât automatically SAVE you or CONDEMN you. Only what is done for Christ will last. Therefore:
â...walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.â Jeremiah 7:23
It is those that walk down Godâs Street that He TRULY LOVES.

Thereâs an old saying that 'There Are No Atheists In Foxholes' - but there are two other places where there are also no atheists:
â In Heaven -and- â In Hell
For some reading this, this declaration might be laughable â and maybe offensive, and if thatâs how you feel, letâs be clear:
While in âThe HEREâ you Have Every Right To Believe (or not believe) ANYTHING You Want, however in âThe Hereafterâ the recognition to Christ of 1 John 3:11 will either be said with GREAT JOY or GREAT REGRET.
Friend, in the Hereafter, what experience do you believe you will have?

We see these signs all the time; âJesus Savesâ
But Saves What?!?
Is Jesus saving money at Costco? Helping to save the planet? Only buying things on sale? So what exactly is he 'saving?'
Admittedly, at face value, this terse message without any context makes no sense whatsoever. In fact for most people it would appear silly and perhaps even laughable and easily passed off as forgettable and nonsensical. If thatâs how you feel about it, I totally get. Without any context whatsoever it doesnât make any sense. However, this is where Satanâs word to Eve in the Garden of Eden becomes vitally important.
You see, if youâre like a lot of people, death and dying are not on your mind, and Iâd be willing to say that for today thatâs 100% true. In that sense, many reading this are no different than a study made in a class of kindergarteners who were asked if they were going to die⌠and none of them raised their hands!
The first lie in history was that âYe shall not surely die.â when in fact that IS a LIE. Your mortal body WILL die â and this is where the JESUS SAVES part comes in.
The Bible says that Christ came to give people eternal life and to save all that believe in their heart and confess boldly that He is LORD and GOD. For all those that believe this simple message of JESUS SAVES will be the only ones that will not âSurely Die.â
Jesus â The Christ, The Redeemer and Saviour of the World â came to save YOU from the certain mortal death that you CAN NOW see coming, but more importantly from a fate that you may NOT see coming, and that is the second death of your soul for eternity.
Friend, this sign of JESUS SAVES is the most important sign you will see today.
How you respond to this sign is entirely up to you.

We are all afraid of something.
It might be fear of snakes, heights, flying in a plane, speaking in public or a variety of other things. Some of these fears are real and some are imagined, but for some people the greatest REAL fear they have is the Fear Of Death.
This poses a stark question: Are you afraid of dying? Are you concerned about what happens to you AFTER you die? How you answer that question says a lot about your spiritual state and relationship with the Almighty.
You see, the Bible promises all that put their faith in Christ, confess and repent of their sins, and purpose in their heart to live His way Will Have Eternal Life with God. When a true believer and disciple of Christ leaves this life, their life in eternity will be nothing to fear, but the greatest joy that one could possibly imagine.
We Christians look at those that do not have that assurance with deep concern and justifiable real 'fear' for those that do not have Christ! It is not a judgement against those that do not receive God, but a heartfelt concern that they will come into the Kingdom of God as a redeemed son or daughter and not be as those that â(have) come too late.â
Friend, when in Christ - and your salvation is assured - what is on 'the other side' will not be FEARED but FANTASTIC. There is no need to fear death for the believer!
âTODAY is the Day of Salvationâ 2 Corinthians 6:2
Please donât WAIT... ...until itâs too LATE.

Famous radio personality Paul Harvey once told a story of a family hurriedly visiting the Grand Canyon. As their minivan screeched to a halt the dad jumped out with his camcorder, made a quick video sweep across the horizon, jumped back in and while speeding away shouted, âYou can watch it on the video!!â
If you have been to the Grand Canyon, then you know that no pictures can do it justice! Even years ago before I saw it in person, at Disneyland back in the 1960âs AT&T sponsored an amazing 360° Circlevision movie called âAmerica The Beautifulâ which visited many famous places across the country. While the segment of flying through the Grand Canyon in Circlevision was amazing, it could not compare to the actual experience of personally laying your eyes on it.
Likewise so is reading the actual Word of God. Obviously you are reading this message and todayâs scripture in Psalms on a smartphone, tablet, or computer screen, but I have found that scripture really becomes present and powerful when you are reading it out of a physical Bible. Now donât get me wrong! It is OK to research scripture from the web or a Bible app, but to have the Word go INTO YOU DEEPLY cast your eyes directly on the Word. This also applies to reading references in Christian books as well, so instead of just reading a scripture quoted on that authorâs page, try opening your Bible and read the actual scripture from the Word directly and it will be much more impactful.
Certainly Godâs Word will "Not come back to me (God) void" (Isiah 55:11) The Word always is powerful, but there is elevated power in the actual Word of God.

We have all been in a dark place when we wish we had light. In a dark room it is always easier to walk towards or with light than away from it. As it is in the physical world, so it is in the spiritual world, but sadly most people choose the latter. Why is that?
Jesus answers that very clearly in this passage:
âLight has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.â John 3:19-21 You see, our natural sinful human nature does not really want to do Godâs Good but what WE think is good. Our inclination is to make or follow our own light like a sadly popular current phase, You have to speak your own truth. Hear again the Bible tells us that Jesus is âThe Way, The Truth, and The LIGHTâ (John 14:6) We are not the light or the source of it.
The popular singer James Taylor has a profound verse in one of his songs that says âYou donât get no light from a TV screenâ Add tablet, computer or cellphone to that and that is exactly the darkness in which most people are walking.
Are you Walking in Darkness or in THE LIGHT?
Blessings To You Today
