Everyday I wake up and put on the masks that others want me to wear. One for my family, one fore my teachers, one for my classmates, one for my coaches, and one for the rest of the damn society. If I try and take one off I am ridiculed and reprimanded. I wear a mask for everyone but a few people and if you are one of those few who see me unmasked, you see me as the truest version of myself, something even I question and am still trying to find. I am tried of putting on a mask. Those masks are slowly killing me. All I want to do is say to hell with you all and escape. To just run away and be in a place where I can find myself and the many layers of me I have yet to uncover. I am tired of the masks and living a lie for the sake of all you people.
