Health Insurance Enrollment Period Is Now Open!

We're urging uninsured New Yorkers to sign up for a health insurance plan under the Affordable Care Act. 

From now until Jan. 31, 2018, sign up with a GetCoveredNYC Certified Application Counselor near you. 

While the Trump administration has shortened the open enrollment period to six weeks for most states, New York’s enrollment period lasts for three months. 

GetCoveredNYC helps uninsured New Yorkers get an affordable health insurance plan.

“Health insurance gives New Yorkers access to the regular, preventative care they need to maintain good health and identify concerns early,” said Health Commissioner Dr. Mary T. Bassett. “We want all New Yorkers to know that health insurance through the Affordable Care Act is still available. I urge all New Yorkers who are eligible to get covered through the marketplace or renew their health insurance today.”

Certified application counselors in all five boroughs can help you and your family sign up for low or no-cost health insurance.

Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are recommended. Interpretation services are also available. Counselors are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
