saw one of my kaveh fanarts getting notes again on aromantic visibility day which reminded me that i'd planned on sharing my aro hc's for him years ago ;; i'm so late but here they are!! (more under the cut)
as i mentioned in the tags of a past fanart, i hc kaveh as demiromantic! during his akademiya years he would've had many admirers bc of how kind and intelligent he is, but he'd end up rejecting anyone brave enough to confess (letting them down as nicely as possible ofc) bc he just felt like he didn't know them well enough to have romantic feelings for them.
i dont think he would've felt comfortable going out with someone to try things out, so in his eyes, rejecting the confessor was the most respectful answer to their feelings. after a few of these confessions, he'd come to the conclusion that he'd only end up falling for someone he was already close to.
i don't think he would've been in any relationships after graduating from the akademiya, but i don't think that would have bothered him either. with his love for his work, interests, and close-knit group of friends, he'd feel very fulfilled.
that being said, i think kaveh is romance favorable! he values emotions for what they are and for their potential to spark creativity, and romantic love is no exception.
i think he'd be a little bit of a romantic in the sense that he'd look forward to having a partner in the future but he wouldn't feel bad that he hasn't caught feelings for anyone yet; i think he'd leave it up to fate!
as fate would have it though, he went through a lot of challenges and eventually began living with a certain scribe.
i have hc's about said scribe and their relationship development, but since these are kaveh-centric hc's, i'll just say that i see their ship as a romantic relationship or qpr and leave it at that ^^
