Sparks - Genos x Reader by Nika Ravenscraft
Sparks {Genos x Reader}
Saitama, who is currently walking besides Genos, comes to abrupt stop as a lamppost lands just a few centimeters in front of them. Genos, who didn’t stop in time gets whacked in the head by it, and stumbles back a few steps.
“Oh you’re head didn’t come off? What a shame...” a squeaky voice hollers, as if trying to help Saitama and Genos spot its source amongst all of the rubble.
“You’re blocking my way home. Could you destroy some other party of the city?” Saitama says, meanwhile pulling a candy bar out of his grocery bag. Slowly unwrapping it, he waits for the response of the unseen villain.
“I’ve come to destroy the city and you, cyborg,” the voice responds, completely ignoring Saitama. Saitama is too focused on savoring the taste of his candy bar to be angry about the fact that the villain ignored him.
“At this rate the milk I bought is going to spoil,” Saitama mutters, meanwhile peering into his grocery bag. He also bought some eggs and yogurt. Perhaps, even though it is annoying, he should take the long way home so he can refrigerate his groceries.
Genos, noticing Saitama’s concern about his groceries says, “Don’t worry Master, I will take care of this.” His words go unheard, however, because Saitama is already a block away from him, headed home the long way.
“I am a cyborg, no matter what invisibility powers you have, you can not remain unseen by eyes for long,” Genos hollers, meanwhile hoping that the villain will reveal themselves voluntarily. The process of using his eyes to analyze his surroundings can be a bit of a tedious process...
Suddenly, a cloud of sparks blinds him. “I’ve got you now, you sneaky bastard” an unfamiliar voice hollers. When the cloud of sparks fades away, two people are revealed. One of the figures lies, twitching on the ground. The figure is a cyborg, but seems to be primarily human, with only their arms and legs being mechanical. The second figure, being of (short or tall) stature proudly stands upon the first figure. The second figure is also a cyborg, and seems to primarily mechanical like Genos. Clad in a (tight fitting or loose) jumpsuit of (favorite color), they look more like a mechanic than a hero. None the less, Genos is impressed by how fast they found the invisible villain.
“He’s a cyborg that wants to destroy cyborgs... How much more messed up can you get?” The hero before him asks, and before letting Genos responds adds I’m (name). It’s nice to meet another cyborg that ISN’T crazy. At least, you don’t seem crazy... If you’re anything like this guy I might have to zap you.”
“Zap?” Genos asks, confused, “Is that all you can do? Can’t you shoot fire or...?”
“I’m a cyborg that specializes in emitting sparks. Basically I’m a cyborg that can direct electricity. Although, describing myself like that makes me sound like nothing but a giant taser...” (name) says with a small sigh. “Anyways... Thanks for distracting him,” (name adds) meanwhile stomping on the villain’s head. “He stole my back-up arms and legs”. Now that Genos thinks about it, the arms and legs seem too (small or big- pretend the villain is the opposite size of you). (Name) sighs again as they add, “And once they’re attached to a body they’re hard to pull off. Do you think you could help me get them off this guy?” (Name) motions to the villain that they are still standing on.
For half an hour, (Name) and Genos attempt to pull (Name’s) back-up limbs off the villain’s unconscious body to no avail. Just as (Name) is about to give up, Genos says, “My Master is strong, he should be able to get them off.” Slinging the villain over one of his broad shoulders, Genos leads (Name) to Saitama’s apartment.

“Eh? I thought you were going to take care of the villain, not bring him home,” Saitama says, upon opening his apartment door. Shifting his gaze from Genos to (Name), he then asks “Who’s this?” Genos then explains the situation, in 20 words or less, just the way his master likes.
“I’ll help if you fix my microwave and Genos. Both, the other day, had sparks coming out of them,” Saitama says, and as if on cue, sparks begin to spurt out of Genos, and from Saitama’s microwave.
A few months later...
“WAHH that was cool, do it again!” (Name) hollers as Genos shoots a beam of fire at Saitama. (Name), who ended up becoming friends with both Saitama and Genos is currently watching the two have a practice fight. “You can win this time Genos, I know you can!”
Genos loses for the 50th time in a row.
“I still think you’re the strongest, Genos” (Name remarks) with a small smile, and a blush upon their cheeks.
“No I’m not, Master has won 50 times in a row. Master is clearly the strongest,” Genos responds, seeming confused. Why would (Name) think he is the strongest?
“He has lost once...” (Name) whispers, their whole face now turning red. “He has failed to win my heart. Only you have done that, Genos.”
