Because Kouta doesn’t think ahead and Kaito would never ask.
That's a fairly good point. I think the only way Kouta would realize "Hey! You could use this too!" would be if Kaito's Genesis Driver was broken or lost and he had to strictly use the Sengoku Driver from that point on.

Okay, follow-up question: why hasn't Kaito done that yet? I'm fairly certain Baron Jinba Lemon would be more powerful than Baron Lemon Energy, since it's combining the power of both Lock Seeds.

This question has been running through my head since Episode 32. Now that Kouta has Kachidoki and Kiwami Arms, there's no real reason for him to keep using the Jinba forms, and it would be a heck of a lot easier for Baron to attach the Genesis Core when he's in a pinch than to completely switch Drivers each time.
