Generation Pakistan draws inspiration from an enigmatic source of beauty hiding in plain sight; the colour of our very own skin.

“ Eid range Misri celebrates embracing the moment and one's wujood. This thus acts as a source of empowerment for the woman as well as a form of liberation. It's a further development of the Step Outside concept which was developed earlier in SS 2016. This season Generation encourages the wearer to step outside and embrace the self, which becomes a celebration of her individuality and unique character. Misri has been shot by the brilliant Abdullah Harris, with the inspirational artist and soulful performer Ismet Khwaja as Misri stepping outside in the monsoon rain while exuding self awareness, passion, strength and individuality.” - Generation

Generation’s “A dot that went for a walk”
“This collection is inspired by the dupatta which represents really the base of sub continental clothing like the kurta, the shalwar and the kaftan which are all cut from panels of the dupatta thus utilizing it in completion. The dupatta goes for a walk in the city where it meets the gulaab. This collection documents the journey of these two characters.
The collection is a celebration of movement and form that is the base characteristic of fabric itself. It explores the way fabric dances along the human form; how it clings, drapes and falls. Expect cuts that deconstruct mainstream and traditional silhouettes, where everything from the kurta, kaftan, pajama, shalwar and even the dupatta find new forms.”
