@generalmorgana Thats exactly what i thought but people are saying that jasmine/where she lives is based off of a place in India but still Like I know Jade Thirwall from little Mix auditioned and she is Egyptian so it's not like there wasn't people who they could have cast. And there's complaints about light skin she is, which is also valid

@generalmorgana is that what they said when they made the animated movie, or did they just say this when they announced the cast? I like Naomi and I'm glad they didn't white wash the film, but I know that there were actual middle eastern girls who tried out so this is kind of :/
