Hello Bitties. I've been having a bit of a time lately. I've got some art stuff in the works but the past couple weeks haven't been the best. I've had to work late at my new job all this week along with other life issues getting in the way I haven't gotten to finish the piece I was working on in time to post properly. I know this account doesn't have many followers yet but I'd still like to get into the habit of having a bit of a chat to dump some of these things out of my brain as well as let everyone who does care know how things are going behind the scenes. I've been doing some introspection and trying to shift a few of my mindsets around and have different outlooks on things as well as taking some time to rest. My job is physically demanding at times, I'm an inspector at a meat packaging facility so I'm walking easily between 7 & 8 miles a day in a refrigerated building so when I get off of work I am rightly exhausted. I'm working out the kinks in my schedule so I can get more out of my free time and actually be able to engage in my hobbies and make time for art, as it's something I really love and enjoy doing. Thank you so much for anyone who's read this and cares :] Let's all try our best this week, look forward to a lineart post of the newest piece I'm working on sometime within the next day or two. HEY THEATRE KIDS
It's hell week for some of us so have some general upkeep reminders: Go to bed at a decent time, even coffee isn't a decent substitute for a full night of sleep. Drink a lot of water, you wouldn't want to get dehydrated during a scene. I recommend having two water bottles on you at all times, so you always at least have one full. Put yourself on vocal rest. It's tempting to scream along to your playlists, but by the end of the week, your voice is going to be ratchet. If you start going a little hoarse, drink some tea with honey. Bring enough food. And make sure it's healthy. Protein, fruits and vegetables. I know it goes without saying, but you will need the energy. If you can, it's always nice to have some extra fruit or something, in case someone forget food. (It happens more than you think) Try not to stress /too/ much. The production will be fine, and you will do great. Stress just tires everyone out.

For those who don't care, I like tags as an organizational system as well as a metatextual space for commentary.
