who said baking christmas cookies with your partners was fun? both gem and zed get way too analytical about it, being scientists and all. they get into each other's hair all the time, about what size egg is right; how many grams it should have to be in good proportion to the other ingredients - you get the gist.
it's not fun, but xisuma finds it amusing to watch his boy- and girlfriend argue overs eggs. god, both zed and gem look at home like this. and even if xisuma ends up shutting them both up with kisses and his own hands in the dough, he couldn't be happier as they start another flirtatious argument about cookie cutter shapes.
They've got notebooks written about baking cookies. Yet, they'll both sit by when Xisuma bakes them because they both agree his are the best no matter how he does it.
You might think they're only arguing to get X to give up and do it for them. But no. They really are this passionate about cookies.
