Last time that happened to me, it stopped after, like, three. Shouldn’t be too long. Of course, the time before that it stopped after about a year and a half, but let’s hope for the first one.

Also, I find that (playfully) stealing someone’s novels is usually the start of a good relationship. It doesn’t even need words. You could probably just start charades right in front of them, and they will find this amazing and irresistible.
Also, I would totally do that. (The book stealing thing. Except not stealing, but more...questioning. Intense questioning.) I'll try it the next time I see him. XD
Do you like it at RISD? As in, would you recommend going there to major in illustration? Thanks in advance!
AHH absolutely--i never know how to talk about this stuff without sounding like a phony advertisement for my school, haha, but--i've met so many great and inspiring peers and professors through the illustration department and i don't think i'd have a fraction of my experience, both in terms of creating and learning about art and just...MEETING PEOPLE and making connections and learning about the art world, if i wasn't here...i love my department, hahah
i know art school's not the right choice for everyone, so i feel uncomfortable making a sweeping "EVERYONE GO TO ART SCHOOL!!" statement because there's a lot to consider! Â time, money, whether you're comfortable in the school's environment and it's suited for what you want to do, etc...but it's been an amazing experience for me so if you're interested in risd i totally encourage pursuing it!!
