omg i have a lot of favorites but one of them is professor layton and the unwound future aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

POKEMON SAPPHIRE IT…………….WAS MY FIRST GAME EVER THE REMAKES MADE ME SO EMOTIONAL

4. Favorite video game character?

currently it’s wadanohara from wadanohara and the great blue sea!!

5. Least favorite video game character?

I tend to start with asking myself “why?” a lot whenever I make choices for them. Why’d they go into the Dark Brotherhood? What side in the civil war did they pick, and for what reason? Why are they in Skytim in the first place? What’s their motive for doing what they do? Do they care about being Dragonborn and does it change them in any way?

I also develop morality and test it, like, lets say a character with good morals joins the Dark Brotherhood. There could be many reasons for that, like desperate and low on money, or wants to take out the emporer by any means necessary. Or a character with some bad morals and a “kill everything leave the weak to death” kind of view on life saves a drowning traveler, and you never know the traveler could have been an assassin. but they did it anyways. Or they could simply be good and strictly so and same with bad.

Also think about their backstory. What were they like before Helgen? Where did they live? Did they live lavishly, or poorly, or what? Did they have friends or were a loner? Did they actually commit a crime or were already a criminal or were law-abiding? Are they coming to Skyrim to better themselves or never wanted to be there in the first place? Things like that that influence the character they turn into.

And think beyond the questlines, what do they plan to do with the dragons after the main quest? what’s their future with the guilds? how do they rebuild skyrim after the war? of course some of these things cannot actually be done (like if you’re imperial - helping the argonians, or stormcloak - kicking thalmor out of the embassy) but we can pretend.
