So I just finished this book:

It is called "Pachinko" by Min Jin Lee. It is a beautiful novel about family, love, war, and survival.

I highly recommend it. I have not had the chance to read for fun in so long (thanks college) that I forgot what it was like to be completely immersed in a book and love the characters. I already miss them!

"The Air You Breathe" by Frances de Pontes Peebles is a tale of music, friendship, and belonging, set in Brazil. If you need a sad story with a bisexual main character, this is for you.

This week's read was "The Beguiled" by Thomas Cullinan!

It is a thrilling tale set in the South during the Civil War. Suspense and lies fuel this gripping story.

I did finish another book, but I was disappointed by it, so I'm not recommending it!

Ahh this was a fantastic book!

"Circe" by Madeline Miller is a dreamy retelling of Greek mythology. Every chapter holds rich details and twists and turns.

No sleeping doggo to hold up the book this time, so I tried to be Aesthetique with the fleece blanket instead.

"Severance" by Ling Ma is a haunting novel about the End and if it really is different than everyday life.
