Doesn't it feel that today we are being shaken? It's hard to decipher truth and lies from political manipulation and fear mongering. Generations have risen and fallen, battles have raged, been won and lost, but the real question is where are we heading now? Will this global empire end up a pile of rubble as we squabble over political correctness, failure to forgive and seek forgiveness, failure to turn to each other and look for the better man in each of us? Will we so freely turn on each other and burn each other's homes to the ground over another's sin? My faith is mine, but not mine alone. I believe as millions of others do as well in God and Christ. And I believe that we as humanity have the capacity to turn to each other, not in anger but in hope, and seek to work out our humanity together with open hearts, ready to embrace each other in forgiveness and work at reconciliation.
