You have singlehandedly made the funniest running joke in my house with my found family.

I'm new to the Epic fandom space, and I assumed it was some sort of Greek god I couldn't recognize that cloudysiedon was rambling about. "Getindawata!"

I went to ask my resident Greek mythology "expert" with just the name... And she was puzzled, so we're just saying it over and over again while cooking dinner until my wonderful husband (who I've forced to listen to me talk about epic) just sits up and goes...

"Slower. Say it slower..."

"Getindawata."

"Get-in-da-wata."

I laughed so hard I fell over, and had to sit on the kitchen floor for a minute.

It's been over a week, If anyone needs me, they'll just start calling out "Getindawata."

If you're ever having a bad day, just know somewhere in the world there's a misfit group of stray LGBTQ+ people who are quoting your comic, laughing their asses off. Thank you for your art, I really can't stress how much your comics make me smile. 💕
