gcau update!
im doing a second version of the gcau which i just decided today so some things may be retconned this is the version im going to write into the actual fanfiction - main changes are, im erasing the influences from my friends rps on mine.
this means:
rei is no longer married to a volo from my friends rp. he is instead in the early stages of a relationship with the medic alec. he also has not discovered his system yet.
rei is the only other person working with elesa to actually survey, although sometimes Captain Cyllene will join them.
akari has not discovered her system either, and all memories of Carol (a friend's character who effectively was her parent) are gone, though carols influence on her backstory is not.
volo has a... slightly different backstory, as ive been figuring things out with his backstory since i started the rp. the possible bad ending will also be changed accordingly :)

oo it stands for graveyard caretaker au, it's a damie au where jamie is a caretaker of a haunted graveyard/cemetery and takes care of the ghosts there and helps them pass on when they're ready like a living personification of death when one day the cemetery gets a new and far too pretty resident
it's about facing death and the inevitability of it and to still keep going anyways. it's about grief and memories and how ghosts process and manage the trauma of their own deaths and what they left behind and the horror and romance behind it all. it's about people who can't escape their fate and how the love was always there, it didn't anything but the love was still there. it's about a old cemetery and a lonely cottage and a ghostly black dog. it's about a local legend of a body in the woods. it's about falling in love with a ghost and grieving what could have been. it's the aftermath of a tragedy seeped with romance. it's me listening to the playlist on repeat and drowning in my feelings
I couldn’t sleep before I posted this. We have a full-blown AU on our hands now and I’ll be damned if I don’t draw bad doodles of the Bad Kids in this Game Changer AU

okay so I’m trying to plan out character designs for the GCAU before i doodle them, and while i do have a couple ideas i’d love to hear your guys’ suggestions. here goes:
roman: okay so his outfit is inspired by a mix of a dude i dance with and a choreographer whose class i’ve taken. basically, he’s always pushing his hair back with this ridiculous-ass headband and it’s adorable and he always wears these grey sweatpants that are surprisingly iconic. no clue about his top, no clue about any other accessories. will wear crop tops when not teaching.
virgil: okay so i’m not entirely sure what jazz/lyrical peeps wear so @ dance ppl let me know but i’m thinking maybe just a kinda desaturated purple tshirt and like slim-fitting back workout pants? lmao i don’t know what guys wear. also probably some sort of black and purple hoodie bc come on it’s iconic. ironically owns a pair of anime schoolgirl thigh=high socks that he got as an unironic gift from patton bc pat thought they looked “neat”.
patton: oh jesus christ almost every dude tapper i know wears shorts and i Cannot see pat wearing shorts so at the moment i have basically his blue polo and n o t h i n g else. maybe black pants and he has those fun black and white tap shoes? idk. might wear bracelets???
logan: yeah, here im absolutely stumped. please tell me what ballet dancers wear. also i think he might generally wear contacts on days he knows he’s gonna be demonstrating stuff???
remy: grey sweater, white shirt, s u n g l a s s e s g a y, black skinny jeans, let’s be honest probably somehow owns a pair of sweatpants with “good company” written across the butt despite GC not??? selling that as merch??? nobody knows where he got it??????, probably has fake nails in some cute colour.

joan: i’m getting a like,,, tank top vibe from them. like, baggy tank top and shorts. and their beanie, ofc.
talyn: oh they’re def the black leggings black oversized tshirt type. probably wears a headband as well. most likely gets their headbands from wherever pat gets his bracelets, at pat’s recommendation.

Most people would probably assume that Len is a light sleeper. It would make sense, given his history – abusive father, juvie, a healthy distrust of strangers. But most people would be wrong in that assumption. Because the truth is, Len can sleep like a cat. As soon as he’s comfortable, if he trusts the people around him enough, he can doze off deeply just about anywhere.
That is, he can do it when there’s not a large dog staring him down from the edge of the bed. But there he is. Worf, standing at the other end of the bedframe, all quiet but judging, of that Len is sure.
