Reap What You Sow is the Garden of Souls Video Game I’ve Always Wanted!
Our pal and yours Kyatt (aka TJ Cordes) just posted a satisfying Halloween themed game to itch.io. Reap What You Sow takes the venerable gardening game and adds a macabre twist in which you plant bones, candy corn, and other fall treats to grow skeletons, Pumpkinheads, and candy cornstalks.
As a fan of the awesome Vincent Price horror film Garden of Souls I can’t help but think this is effectively what would have happened if Eli Roth had run Nintendo in the 90s.
You can check out Reap What You Sow at itch.io. With art by Wayne Kubiak and music by Tim Schrock it falls solidly into the “treat” category of Halloween delights.
