Aw I'm so sorry about your boy :(( having males is hard, there's just never enough time with them .....

But I will gladly talk your ear off about Persephone! I got her in March of 2022 as a lil baby, she reminded me of a little honey bee cos of her size and stripes lol.

She was my very first sling and I was kind of nervous but she was such a good eater and never had an issue molting! Easiest lil slings ever, gbbs.

She ended up growing so fast I thought she was gonna turn out male lol!

But she gave me a decent molt around my birthday in October 2022 that I was able to sex and confirm she was female! Yay!!!! I love my males as much as my females, but knowing I will have more years with them is always so exciting 🩷

Persephone quickly became my favorite- always on display, incredible webbing, and just absolutely gorgeous!

She was my first for a lot of things, including my first escapee lol. She escaped in October of 2023 when I accidentally left her feeding latch open... I have never seen her climb on the lid but damn if she didn't squeeze her little butt out then! I will say she seems much smarter than any other tarantula I've owned 😅 luckily she showed up again, scaring the shit out of my sister a month after lol 🩷

I love this species so much because of her and decided to get another last year! A small thing I named Hades II. (I already had a Hades but I am trying to manifest a male for Persephone! Plus it was funny with the new game haha) I'm really hoping for a boy so I can have many little gbbs and share the GBB love with other people :3

Anyway, that's that on my spicy little hair kicker! She can be mellow when she wants, but loves to kick up a cloud of hair when she's not happy lol. One last pic of her being chill while I gave her a health check 💚🧡💙
