I been natural my whole life and I do not relate to those "natural hair problems" posts. I leave my edges nappy, I only wore twist outs as a special event type of thing, and I buy very few, very cheap products, just what I need to keep it healthy. I never have this wash day trouble. Lol idk.

The only problem with leaving the responsibility of eradicating white supremacy to white people is, in order for that, they'd have to give a fuck first. Y'all think they're going to fight to end a system that benefits them at the expense of others just because it's the right thing to do? It's been the right thing to do for centuries and yet there is still racism. We have to do this shit ourselves. Still hold them accountable, but just know that if we want to see any type of real change we have to be the ones to create it.

You can't "beat" stereotypes by trying not to be them. The only way is to live however you choose regardless of them, and to stop perpetuating them.
