@gavelcorrupted asked âFred Astaireâ
It was her fault for leaving the door unlocked; had her brother actually had to knock he might not have found her in the state he did -- dancing (well, more like jumping) on her bed, still wrapped in a towel from her shower, singling along with P!nkâs âSo Whatâ as it came out of her ipod.
Except for the song, it could have been a scene from their teenage years. The early ones -- back before their dad died and everything got mixed up. But hey...that was a good thing, right? Meant she was happy? Enjoying whatever was going on in her life at the moment?
That high, however, didnât last long. Seeing Jax in her bedroom doorway, she yelped and not paying attention, tumbled off her bed and onto the floor. Owww....
âYou werenât supposed to be here for another half hour!â Plenty of time to finish her impromptu dance party and get dressed. Though now found herself being glad he was only a half-hour early...had he been an hour early he would have gotten there about the same time she did.
As she had not spent last night at her place. Ooops.
@gavelcorruptedâ asked : â  it wasnât the same without you  â

â look, i am doing the best that i can right now. â unlike the sons of anarchy, david wasnât going to resort to illegal measures to get rid of their common enemy. he depended on the law, and heâd sworn to follow it when he became part of the force. he refused to become like wayne. â you already have one cop on your payroll, the goddamn chief of police. you want information so bad, you want to go against the law? go talk to him. â

being close to the club was hardly safe, though she accepted her fate the moment they took her in. if anything, being in law enforcement was possibly just as dangerous. however, that didnât mean she was okay with the club as a whole, especially when it came to their blond, fearless leader. he did things that drove her insane, forcing her to stay two steps ahead of him, aiming to keep bloodshed out of her town. it never worked & she was aware her attempts were worthless, but that didnât mean sheâd stop. or so she had thought. once the new bosses moved into charming, the connection she had with the club forced her to step down & turn in her badge. being a cop was everything & truthfully, she blamed the president, despite knowing it was her fault. she was the one who climbed into bed with criminals.
cutting ties would have been the smart move, but she already knew to much & leaving would make her a liability. she certainly wasnât scared of the club, not since most of them had become her family, though she knew the rules. she knew if she uttered one word about the illegal activity that happened at the hands of the sons, theyâd easily plant a bullet in her skull. that alone forced her to stay, earning her keep by using her expertise, though she constantly looked for an out. if she could find leverage & a way to leave, she would. she just had no idea that staying would cause her to be apart of the bloodshed, bonding her tighter to the club.Â
the shots seemingly came out of nowhere, ringing through her ears, as she tried to make a run for safety. in her head, she wanted to believe she was an innocent bystander, but she knew the truth. rival clubs wouldnât hesitate to hurt someone the club was close to & she was an easy target. maybe it had been her fault for not paying attention, wasting her energy on arguing with jax again. but now, all she knew was the searing pain that was coursing through her. the bullet had lodged itself in her shoulder, sending her down on the concrete with the force.Â
broken cries escaped her lips as she felt herself being dragged, which she knew was supposed to protect her from further shots, but it hurt like hell. she could feel a set of hands against her, applying pressure to the wound, though she couldnât bring herself to look. she didnât want to know how bad it was, because if it looked anything like it felt, then she knew she was fucked.Â

In disbelief, she looked at him. A smile brightened her features at his words. He was ready to leave the club and the town that couldnât live up to its name to have something of a normal life. Tara never expected the white picket fenceâŚshe was smarter than that and even more realistic than many women who wanted the fairy tale ending to their lives.  âAre you sure?â She asked...One of the many questions...She watched as a smile formed on his lips before wrapping her arms around his neck but she had to admit that in the back of her mind...would the club let him go? The club had been in his blood since he was a child and had grown stronger during the time they were first together as teenagers...and it had only grown.
The tattoo on her back even proved that the club had been in her own blood. Â
But one man and so many actions plus their reactions had soured the club and it had fallen away from what J.T. had wanted...along with Piney. Then, his mother...Gemma was strong and always playing..meddling and controlling but could they escape Charming and to live a life with their boys? She hoped but in her heart; she knew this was not something to be.

sneaking around was becoming exhausted, though deep down, she knew her father already knew. it wasnât like she could hide anything from him. his men were everywhere, probably following her around, considering she had taken up lying. the cause had become second in her worries, following behind the forbidden man she was sneaking around with. he was a customer & definitely off limits to her personal needs, but she couldnât help herself. there was something about him that kept drawing her in, despite how much she tried denying it at first.Â
feeling his arm drape over her shoulders, she sighed softly as she leaned against him. her head fell to his shoulder, eyes closing, before opening them again to look into the dark sky. â think he knows the full extent of us? â katya knew her father would have already confronted them if he knew the entire truth. she was just worried how far her father would take things.
the stars were barely visible, clouds covering them. a storm was coming, though she didnât want to go inside ; she didnât want to climb off the roof. â how well do you trust your guys, anyway? i donât want them telling my dad about us yet. â
