what makes you think Miss Holloway is a Mary Sue? just curious
Because she fits the textbook definition of one. She has no visible character flaws, acts as a deus ex machina to issues in canon and fanon alike, possesses the strongest magical artefact on the planet, is inexplicably tied to fan-favourite character Uncle Wiley, and has forced shipping thrown into her story. Making a character sad or giving them a tragic backstory is not the same as making them a flawed person. I greatly dislike Holloway, but knowing how the Langs iterate and improve their characters over time, I am fairly sure this will be somewhat cleared up by Glam or Holloween.
had a misunderstanding with my boyfriend today. we were at their house, and by the time he’s going to take me home, we grew much silent. The whole ride had a deafening silence. I wanted to talk and be loud like I’ve always been doing, but I couldn’t. I hugged him one time, and as I was about to let go of the hug because I thought he might not be liking it, he grabbed my hand and placed it again on his stomach so I’m hugging him. I smiled secretly and didn’t let go after that until we got home, but still, no one is breaking the silence.
I got out of the vehicle and so did he. I asked him if he wants some water but he refused. We didn’t spoke until he told me he’s going. Because I’m not feeling okay too, I just nodded. I thought he was really going but after multiple times of telling me he was going and me plainly answering ‘okay’, his motorcycle did not move at all which tells me that he still doesn’t want to go.
After that, I saw him took a deep breath and asked me if I’m mad at him. I was surprised because I thought he was the one who’s mad. So, I told him that. And we had different stories. We talked and after a while we laughed. Then, we hugged and we kissed.
And we exchanged I love you’s.
