Earlier today, it was confirmed that the 3DS line of systems would be put out of production and discontinued.
This meant a lot to me. As, I had a lot of fond memories of the 3DS while growing up.
From my stepsister breaking my original 3DS, drawing with Flipnote Studio 3D and Comic Workshop 2, reinvigorating my love for Pokémon, and the countless people that I’ve connected with over the years, it’s no surprise that it was a pretty cool console with some great features.
To honor it, I drew Toranya looking down in the dumps. With the old Gatchapedia design in the background. (That design was based off of the 2DS. The Gatchapedia in the sequels would’ve been based off of the New 2DS XL.)
Here’s to all the memories that the 3DS family of systems gave me and a lot of others.
Yesterday was Friday the 13th!
I wanted to draw a black cat like Shin Kuroi. But, I decided to go with something more original and cursed...
A design I made for a device called the Gatchapedia for Gatchawatch (Which is a game that I'll make when I get older). It's a device that functions a lot like the Pokédex from Pokémon. It includes information on all 200 species of Gatchamon including their locations, size and weight, and a full view of each monster. You can also use it to scan for invisible Gatchamon (mostly ghost based ones) and receive new information on them in the Gatchapedia. The main way to gain new Gatchamon data is to befriend one through battle, or through trades with friends. I'm keeping the total of Gatchamon at 200 for now, but I might scale them down if I feel like it's too high of a number.
(Another thing about the Gatchapedia, is that I loosely based it's design off of the Nintendo 2DS. I did that because, I love the design of the system, and the way that it's held.)
The second one adds in some control details, and a couple of little changes to the design.
New artwork featuring redesigns for Purrnyan and Spikenyan, who were renamed to Purrmar and Scratchmar.

I haven’t shared any new things from Gatchawatch on here that much these days. It’s about time I changed that.
Here’s some new Gatchamon I designed. (With some exclusive concept art.)
My stepmom was nice enough to buy me a drawing tablet.
These are some of the first few pieces of artwork I've managed to make with it. I'll be sure to work on some greater stuff in the future!
It took me 2 weeks to do, but I finally passed all of my classes.
I am now a proud college graduate!
