Florida activities
I was downtown Tampa for a weekend and was at the gasprilla festival There were lots of parades with parties and lots of drinking it was really cool to see all the people in their pirate outfits and really support Tampa. Finally the back story of gasprilla is their was a pirate that sailed all the way from Spain and he claimed this land and named it Tampa.
This is the biggest event all over Florida it is just so special because it only happens once a year. So when it comes everyone's excitement is just that much more extatic. The people on my hockey team were even saying there are people that came from across the country for gasprilla.
