@garuvusuâ  asked  :  â  you save everyone, but who saves you  ?  â
her features twisted into frustration  /  [  could he really not understand her still  ]  ,  she had thought that there last meetings,  as brief as they were,  had given each other the measure of one another.  an overestimation in her calculations,  perhaps.  her mantra was freedom;  no matter the cost. she was so tired,  but as long as the was work left to be done,  how could she possibly stop  ?  only then,  when she was done,  would she be able to tend to her bruises and wash the bloodstains from her own hands.  and then maybe,  maybe she could face the ghosts that haunted her,  those who she had failed in her quests.
â  not to come across self  -  sacrificinâ,  but nobody.  thatâs the fuckinâ  point,  i can save myself just fine.  â  after those she had already lost,  out of needless sacrifice,  no more would die when she could hold strong instead.  solid  /  steadfast,  that was what was important to remember.Â
â  donât expect you think youâre gonna need savinâ.  but  -  who will save you  ?  â  words were spat with the anger that settled in her heart.  it was the same anger that she felt toward all who still sat still and benefited from the oppression of the empire.  â  âcause if i have anythinâ to do with it youâre gonna wish someone was cominâ for you.  â
