Descendants Gil Harry Uma headcanon
Those three are the best of friends but they all see each other as more than friends. They convince Ben to share a room (I liked who ever had that idea) They stay up talking like they do every night and they decide to play truth or dare. Gil goes first and he picks truth and he admits his feelings for both Harry and Uma. He is shy he blushes. He is the most sensitive of the three. There's a moment in the swordfighting scene that really stood out to me that I want to talk about. At one point, Harry jumps into the supposedly dangerous water to retrieve his hook, which is a conversation of its own, but not the one I'm after right now. As he's coming back onto the dock, he gently calls for Uma as she passes him, chasing after Mal, not even very loud or forceful. She very easily could have ignored him, and continued after Mal, but she stops dead, and goes straight for him. Mal gets ahead, and is able to escape, where she probably wouldn't have had Uma not stopped. But Uma is so desperately loyal and dedicated to this boy, that she doesn't so much as pause to simply pull him up, when he easily could have done so himself. (Have you seen that boys arms, like damn.) So anyone that says that Uma would leave him or Gil behind are delusional. She would doom herself to a lifetime in her mother's chip shop if it were her only option of staying with them.
