So what if they, like pallas's cats, also stood on their tails to keep their talons warm? 🥺

Or used their tails like how snow leopards sometimes nom on them to play or for comfort (especially as babies)?

Do traditional Ice Gaolers see the velvet shedding as a messy inconvenience, and if so is there any sort of protocol or traditions that they have for dealing with it? Like do they have to temporarily stay in a "shedding cave" carved from the ice caverns for that purpose? Or do they just get a towel for their fur and call it a day? And do they eat the shed velvet or just dispose of it, burying it along with the old shed antlers?

And imagine how awful it would be for gaolers with the gnarlhorns gene!
