As a celebration of the 40th anniversary for the legend of zelda, I'll be posting new and old zelda 1 and 2 art this month!! Here's the zelda 1 bosses sticker sheet I made for the Blood Moon Rising zine (2023) that is AVAILABLE ON MY KOFI!!

there is nothing new under the sun, and for arcade? it’s exceptionally true. in none of his endings do you ever actually get to keep him. you always have to send him away, send him somewhere, he will not come to the dam with you. he complains he’s too boring and nobody ever stays, and you are not allowed to stay. in some desert, somewhere, maybe arcade finds himself. but it’s not this one, and it’s not with you.

Tearing itself free from a fragile seal, with nowhere else to go, the beast frantically returns to its old vessel — another seal no longer capable of containing it. Its body is eroded and broken, but it will have to do.
