boy do i! i don’t read as much as i used to, but i recommend the secret history by donna tartt (i first read it around this time last year and really liked it), the book thief by markus zusak if you haven’t read it already, the hot zone by richard preston (nonfiction about the ebola outbreaks in the 70s and 80s idk if you’re into that but i devoured this book in like three days last year), the martian by andy weir (one of very few books to actually make me laugh out loud while reading it), the hateful eight by daniel handler (aka lemony skicket!), one of us is lying by karen m mcmanus, & and then there were none by agatha christie. the last three i haven’t read yet, but they’re on my list for winter break so you can read along with me!! if you like poetry i highly recommend clint smith and kaveh akbar. i met both of them in senior year of hs bc we read their stuff in my ap lit class and they both write so beautifully it’s insane. love them, very nice guys!

for shows, i recommend schitt’s creek (comedy), psych (comedy), letterkenny (comedy), nathan for you (reality, comedy), fleabag (drama, comedy), derry girls (comedy), sex education (comedy), the x files (aliens!), don’t fuck with cats (true crime doc series), the haunting of hill house/bly manor (horror), and netflix’s adaptation of a series of unfortunate events (fantasy?) can you tell i like comedy shows and not dark gritty shows lmao

12. favorite tv commercial?

any of the old infomercials like big top cupcake and perfect brownies and the cake decorating icing tips and those cakes that you could bake fillings into bro i loved those. as for commercials on tv currently it’s like a geico commercial or something where it’s like we can’t stop you from becoming you parents but we can help you bundle your home and auto. and it’s a guy like leading a “seminar” about how not to be your parents and one of the “lessons” is the teacher and two guys in a store and a guy with blue hair walks by and the teacher is like “we know. we all saw it. it’s okay.” and one guy is like “he had blue hair” and the other guy is just like “BLUE” and it makes me laugh bc that is absolutely my parents and grandparents even tho i literally dye my hair funky colors all the time

16. a netflix series that’s your favorite?

sex education, hill house/bly manor, santa clarita diet, the get down, dear white people, don’t fuck with cats, derry girls, and i am not okay with this are all very excellent netflix series that i recommend

hydrangea: proudest moment?

oh boy well it hasn’t happened quite yet (may 2021) but finishing undergrad i guess? college unexpectedly really kicked my ass from the get-go so i’m very proud of myself to be graduating with two full degrees in three years with 150 credit hours completed. it has been a long and arduous struggle but i am almost there!

i wish i was more of a cute earrings person i literally wear this every day (yes i drew a diagram of my daily earrings lmao the weird one in the middle is my rook). i have some big dangly gold lightning bolts i wear for special occasions but that’s honestly about as funky as i get!
