#game updates

Update coming tomorrow, big enough that they got in-game pop ups about it. If it's that serious, you know it's gonna break things.

Friendly Reminders:

Back up your Saves and Tray Files: copy them to another folder elsewhere on your computer, or to Dropbox/One Drive/wherever you save things you don't want to lose. So if something breaks, you can replace the broken folders.

Clear Your Cache: in the Sims 4 folder, delete localthumbcache and any old lastException and lastCrash files.

If you don't want to update, Go Offline: In EA App, go to the hamburger menu (top left) and click Go Offline. It will ask if you're sure, tell it Yes. You can play the game while you wait for mod updates.

If you are online when you try to open the game, it will automatically try to update. If you want to stop it, in EA App, go to the downloads manager (bottom left corner) and hit Pause before the download is finished. Then hit Cancel, and Go Offline.

Hey everyone!

This was the first month of my 1 year sabbatical from my urban planning job, and gosh, it's been an absolute whirlwind! Lots of firsts for me! I spent the month in Southern Thailand with my partner and did spend a lot of time writing but not a lot of time online!

Everyone warned you, you just didn’t want to listen. He isn’t angry with you—and that’s the most terrifying part.

The confrontation is finally here. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to bring Samantha or Reece as moral support. Or you’ll have to face him alone.

heyyyyyyyy, happy holidays, happy new year, etc. safe to say life has been deeply hectic, with December containing 5 seperate birthdays (including my own lmao), Hanukkah, Christmas, a secret santa event I had no business signing up for, and being on the job hunt again, it's safe to say not much writing has gotten done. this project is not only kicking my ass but is also under heavy reworks.

he is not, as he’s a puppet but he does have lines during the dating sim however he’s just there to be an asshole to Gooseberry until she covers him with a bag lol

i also don’t particularly feel comfortable writing a romance option for him given he’s an animal head puppet, but i wouldn’t remove him from the dating sim entirely because he’s funny

off topic, but liliya will be in the game too! unfortunately, i won’t be adding the kress twins just because i can’t figure out how to do separate routes for them yet

the game is still underway, it’s just currently on hold since i’m in college and christmas just happened but keep ur eyes peeled in the next few months for a huge update!!
