Kingdom Come: Heretic Blood
I just finished my first playthrough in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, and I started thinking about the next game. Of course, there is no confirmation that there will be a third game, and all statements of Warhorse or VƔvra regarding this are somewhat vague. And there are a lot of hints about the Hussite War at the end of the KCD2.
My theory is that the next game will be during the Hussite War, but it won't be Deliverance and Henry won't be the main protagonist anymore. His heroic journey ended, it's time for new hero.
Vojtech of Talmberg. (Or maybe he will have a different name. But Vojtech was a very popular name as Saint Vojtech was second patron of Czech kingdom.)
He is a son of "Divish of Talmberg" and lady Stephanie. Raised as the son of Divish of Talmberk and his heir, but his biological father is Henry of Skalitz.
It will be during the Hussite War, which should start in 1419. It could start similar as Henry's story, so this game could be in 1421-22, when Vojtech is 18 years old.
Divish of Talmberg has been dead for a few years, having died of old age. Vojtech was raised by Lady Stephanie and with the help of Radzig Kobyla (until his death in 1416), who, of course, knew the truth. Nobody told Vojtech the truth. Henry is not around; he disappeared when Vojtech was very young. As soon as he started to resemble him, he gave up his position as mayor in Pribyslavitz and hunter in Talmberg.
Vojtech meets another young nobleman, Hynce Capon of Pirkstein, 15-16 years old, and they gradually become friends. Perhaps Hynce Capon will become VojtÄch's squire for a while.
VojtÄch meets a mysterious man. Later he learns that it was a folk hero, Henry of Skalitz, who through his heroic deeds (especially the battle of Suchdol) rose from the son of a blacksmith to become a knight.
After leaving the region, Henry probably joined Žižka.
At one point he meets Erik, who is something of a bounty hunter here. He tells Vojtech that he is searching for a dangerous criminal and murderer, Henry of Skalitz, and that he should not believe the fairy tales that are told about him. This confuses Vojtech.
At one point, the game shifts with Vojtech to Prague (because I want to see Prague in 15th century)
VojtÄch meets Hans Capon as Hynce's father and also as someone who is against the Hussites.
At one point, Vojtech could meet Jan Zizka. He should died in 1424, so he could be around his death at some point.
During a battle, VojtÄch sees Henry wounded (probably by Erik) and the wounded man flees and retreats.
As soon as Hans Capon finds out, he insists on finding him and treating him. When VojtÄch asks why he needs to save him so badly, Hans Capon hesitates and finally reveals to VojtÄch that they are old friends (hint about Hansry) and that Henry is the son of Radzig Kobyla. As soon as Vojtech realizes that this is the son of his mentor, he insists on going to find him and bring him back. Hans Capon doesn't have time anyway, as he has his hands full with politics (Vojtech's word).
After an extensive search, following various clues (just like Henry in KCD1), VojtÄch discovers that Henry is being held in an enemy camp. He decides to secretly rescue him with the help of Hynek, who provides a distraction or waits with a horse ready for a quick escape.
But just before he reaches him, hidden around the corner, he overhears a conversation between Henry and Erik. Erik mentions that he met his son and revealed to him what kind of murderer he is. VojtÄch finally realizes that they are talking about him.
Vojtech sets out to rescue Henry anyway. But Erik manages to seriously injure Henry. VojtÄch kills Erik (Erik is like Prcek in KCD1 or Istvan in KCD2, an antagonist who is killed off halfway through)
Vojtech and Hynce get the seriously injured Henry to safety to Hans Capon. Henry is unconscious and the doctor has his hands full with him. Vojtech has many questions about his origins, but Henry is unable to communicate at the moment. It is up to Hans Capon to explain things a little.
Vojtech go find some cure, something what could help save Henry.
At the end of the game, Henry wakes up and have finally father-son talk with Vojtech.
And of course, in the meantime, the Hussite Wars are raging, and Vojtech somehow gets involved. But they lasted 17 years, and I don't know the history of that period well enough to describe it and set it in context. Basically, the Hussite Wars are to Heretic Blood what the dispute and choice between Wenceslas and Sigmund is in KCD1 and KCD2. Vojtech will just fight at some battles (I don't know on which side) and talk about politics.
