#game changing

We had more progress today! He ate pate consistency food! He's only been eating broth and smoothies because recently he's been having trouble chewing, but I tried him on pate this morning and there was much rumbling; he's eaten two cans of it over the day!

I mean, he makes a mess, and it passes through him at speed because intestinal cancer, but he's so happy and that makes us happy.

i’ve had moments in my life where i’ve been almost painfully aware of my existence and the person i am, and by and large i mark it down and try to move on without getting too existential about it.

but.

i’m having a very odd time contextualizing only having five days of being in a classroom left (at least for law school hehe) while doing things that i’d sworn i would do “when i had time” (like actually having a little nightly routine, or investing time/energy into a hobby that i’d sworn i would get back into eventually) because it’s so weird to actively clock the person you’re becoming while also approaching major life milestones.
