Mariah was a much stronger beyblader than Lee all throughout the first and third season. When Mariah first made her appearance shredding blades, she exuded a power that Lee has never been able to match. Her battle with Ray also proved how strong she was as a blader - Lee was all talk, he did not have Mariah's power and expertise, imo.

Which is what made me so pissed off that in G Revolution she was just reduced to the mother hen of the team. She would have made a stronger, most confident teammate to Ray and shredded everyone's beyblade faster than they could say goodbye.
