I saw the words Pregnant, Guilty and River.
Someone is going to find out that the person they love got someone else pregnant. This will obviously be so devastating. It’s going to make this woman suicidal. I’m so sorry if this is any of you. Please please don’t take your life because of your grief. Find someone to talk to or a call a suicide hotline in your area. I promise you, you will get through this. The Holy Spirit just said to me “my princess”. You are so incredibly important to God and he loves you. He will heal your broken heart.
Some of you men need to really be careful how you treat the women you claim to love. The Lord is watching. You can only push someone so far before it’s too late. God is saying there will be blood on YOUR hands for mistreating women. God will hold you accountable. It’s better to always be upfront and honest about your intentions and feelings. If you aren’t ready for a relationship then say that so she can make a decision whether to leave or stay.
Many women you see today who are scarred, angry, closed off, bitter and with “daddy issues”, is because she was once mistreated and abused by the men who claimed to love her.
Think of Judah and Tamar. Judah dishonoured Tamar by not fulfilling his promise to her and in return he lost his honour and was publicly shamed for being deceived by her just as he had deceived her. Her cunningness was holy. She knew what she was entitled to and promised through marriage yet due to Judah’s own selfishness, he tried to cheat her out of her inheritance. He even intended to have her burnt alive for dishonouring his family because of the accusations of prostitution on her part. THE AUDACITY. Recall, she had waited YEARS for the youngest son to grow older to eventually be married to him. I’m 💯 sure she desperately wanted children, a male heir and time was running out before she would be permanently barren. This is what led her to do what she did.
Back then, all a woman was good for was to reproduce, raise children and take care of her husband. That was her only purpose. Can you imagine how she would feel waiting endlessly on her promise? Can you imagine how she felt not being able to fulfil her ONLY duty as her ovaries shriveled up?
In the end, Judah had to admit that Tamar was “more righteous than I” (Genesis 38:26) which to me means, she didn’t do anything wrong as they had an agreement of which he didn’t honour and she found a way (although deceptive) to ensure she received what was fair to her. Not only was Tamar exonerated, she bore twins which meant DOUBLE the inheritance. (We talked about receiving a double portion for your shame in Isaiah 61:7 on 02/22/2022 - do you see how God works?).
You can read the full story here. It’s rather interesting: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Genesis%2038&version=NIV
Judah and Tamar - At that time, Judah left his brothers and went down to stay with a man of Adullam named Hirah. There Judah met the daughte
SO…
Be good fathers and be honest lovers. You’ll never lose by being transparent.
The Lord is saying these “games” and selfishness have severe consequences. Often the consequences come through your own children/daughters as we saw Judah lose two sons. Often these consequences can cost you your success and worse, your life. Often the consequence is losing the love of your life, a true blessing.
I understand temptation is something we all battle but when unsure pray my Kings, ask the Lord to help you. God loves an honest (righteous) man.
Please treat others fairly.
I’ll be praying for this woman.
PS. This could also be for a man who finds out a woman he loves is pregnant with another mans child. I’ll pray for him too.
Someone could also have gotten pregnant on purpose.
PSS. Someone could be feeling super guilty for getting another pregnant, or getting pregnant on purpose. They are sorry.
Please only take what resonates and what God reveals to YOU.
I love you all and I’m here for you in spirit 🤍
