Abstract Black and the Epigenetics (my imaginary chain gang band) went into the creation of the last trumpet blown inking with this idea in mind and this sound in the headphones. It was the first time the trumpet blast inking was approached with a title/theme in mind besides improvised black being. The trumpet sound was intentionally left unrecorded because only close company gets the pleasure of the painter’s strokes as they happen.

This was started on qarkabeb in the studio, u-bass added in the park while I waited on my auditioning daughter, and the rest completed after cooking dinner and putting the children to bed.
